Description

What It Is & How It Works

  • Active Ingredient: 1% ketoconazole, a potent antifungal that targets the fungus (Malassezia) that causes dandruff.

  • Unlike shampoos with pyrithione zinc or selenium sulfide, ketoconazole directly fights fungal growth and offers longer-lasting relief.

  • Clinically shown to reduce flaking, scaling, and itch, with studies suggesting it may be significantly more effective than other common dandruff treatments.

Who It Helps

  • Dandruff – Reduces flakes, itch, and visible scalp irritation.

  • Seborrheic Dermatitis – Helps soothe more severe inflammation and redness of the scalp.

  • May also reduce hair shedding in some users, though more research is needed. Many report stronger, fuller hair with consistent use.

Directions for Use

  • Use twice a week for 2–4 weeks. After symptoms improve, maintain results with once every 1–2 weeks.

  • Apply to wet scalp, lather thoroughly, and leave on for 1–3 minutes before rinsing.

  • Safe for color-treated, relaxed, or chemically processed hair. It has a light, clean scent.
